    1911 holster 1917 need a help

Found this holster the other day it’s a Perkins Campbell date 1917, it has a three digit number stamped inside the holster flap appears to be “416”, any ideas what it stands for
    Thanks

Being stamped on the inside it probably meant something to the soldier it was issued to. Doesn't look like the unit markings sometimes stamped on the outside of the holster.

Inside it might be a unit inventory number. Might be part of a troopie's ID number.
416 is Toronto, Ontario's area code, but likely doesn't mean squat.
        Spelling and grammar count!
