Have you or anyone compiled a complete list of the known 1911's from battleships and/or any other naval vessels? I wonder if it would be possible to get all of you serious collectors together with your collections and create a database. You certainly have some historic items of museum quality significance. Neat, indeed.

It's somewhat like getting all the Singer data together. The family is much larger than the birth certificates indicate.
