Service Ace question

Have Service Ace I will putting into use for Steel Challenge.

Once I get it really really clean, will getting the barrel, chamber and extractor Armalloyed improve functioning?

First I would try one of the Triflon lubricants. I don't know how many rounds you have to fire in the challenge, but I have had very good luck with the Triflon lubricant on the floating chamber, firing 50 to 100 rounds with no problem.

Building a dedicated receiver; I will try it on a Rock Island G.I. after putting out some fires.
