Early fire blued 1911 hammer

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced early fire blued short hammer for a 1911 Colt in the 6200 serial number range? Thanks in advance.

You are in luck, sort of. The fire blued parts ended at serial number 2400 on the Model 1911.

The parts in your serial number range finished after the fire blue was discontinued have a smokey blue appearance. What do the other small parts look like on your 1911, and is it original other than the hammer.
