    So Exicted! My first pre-1946 1911 Remington Rand

    I am excited to add this to my collection

    The gun has its correct HS and P marked barrel.

              I have my father's Remington Rand which is in exc condition, s/n 2446043. The barrel is marked HS and the other side P and dark blue, the ramp is polished. I would assume this barrel is correct for this serial number ?

                Yes, your barrel is correct for your late Remington Rand (June, 1945).
