    Remington Rand 1911A1 Help / Opinions Please

    I have wanted a WW2 1911 for a while and recently came across this one. What is your opinions on correctness and value please? Thanks

          Looks okay to me. Obviously, it takes more than pictures to authenticate originality, but the pistol looks correct in the photos. What barrel does it have? HS is what I'd expect to see. Any WWII mag would be okay, but was shipped with one marked L, R or S.

              It looks fine to me. I have one a few numbers off from this is similar condition that I paid $1,300 for but I have seen them up to $1,500 or so.
