Remington Rand 1911A1 WWII Shipping dates?

I have a Ramington Rand M 1911 A1 Serial 967993
and all I can find out is that is was made in 1943 but nothing down to a month or even a day
Any way to track this down?

While no serial number records for Remington Rand exist, the monthly production records do. It is not known if Remington Rand shipped in numerical serial number order or not, so the dates could be off by a month or so if they were not shipped numerically. While not as good as the Colt records, it is better than nothing.
