What are the pros and cons? Thanks for all replies.

One of the few things that has neither pros or cons. Described by some as the perfect solution to the non-existent problem.

Pros allows upper receiver o be taken off as a unit with out removing bushing. Very marginal addition to weight up front to reduce muzzle flip (never could see this one).

Cons some require tools to take them apart but I think Wilson offers a one piece.

I've run both one piece and a GI set up in a Colt series 70. Wore it out and rebuilt it with a L.B lower Kart Barrell Ed Brown internals. Have 5000 rds through it since rebuild. I prefer the GI setup.
