1911 Serial Number 55847973

I recently acquired a 1911 Serial number 55847973. It has WB on the left side of the frame above the trigger. There is a P on the left side near the mag release. There is also a P between the rear sight and the ejection port. Any information relative to this pistol would be greatly appreciated.

Photographs would sure help, but a 55 million serial number range 1911A1 sounds seriously bogus. The other markings sound legit.
