the finish on the right side is really corroded and rough.....not sure it will bring the estimate. I have an adjacent serial number but not interested due to extremely poor condition.

I agree. It's bid to $15,000 now plus a 20% premium.
In my eyes, that's all the money on this pistol

I agree.....$15K is the posted minimum opening bid but, so far no one has bid that amount.......I'm sure someone will at the live auction. A really serious buyer wouldn't use proxy bid but use the telephone direct with the auction house. Cheaper and more reliable. I once purchased a 1937 USGI M1911 from a small auction house in Florida for about $4K....their internet went down when the item came up for bid....i was on the telephone. My lucky night !!!
