    1914 Colt USMC 1911

    I posted this on the 1911 forum, but I thought some of you might enjoy it over here too. This was one I was pretty excited to find as it's just in really nice condition. Which is really rare for a USMC 1911. If I'm doing my math right, it looks to about the 1937th pistol shipped to the Marine Corps on May 12, 1914. I sure doubt I will look this good at a 101 years old.

              It is the 1938th Model 1911 shipped to the USMC, but the 388th shipped on May 12, 1914.

              Very nice pistol plus being USMC. Great find.
