Colt Commercial 1946

Hello:

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1946 Colt commercial that's in the
middle of Poyer's serial number range (C20001-C222001). It's number
is C2213XX. It's in 95%+ condition -- no box or papers. What would be a
fair price for this? The owner is looking at a $3K price tag which to me seems
high but I think he's looking at the possible upside of price from Colt's possibly
going bankrupt (heaven forbid).

condition is everything, Offer 2500 cash and work up. 3k is not out of the ballpark!
