      Probably not suggested (unless you're REALLY hard up for a brew and you can't find an opener) with any "collector" pistols!! LOL!

            I seem to recall that Jeff Cooper mentioned this unique feature of the 1911 in one of his early writings. It took quite a while but I eventually figured out how it was done. The hard part was getting to legal drinking age so I could try it.
