What is even more amazing is that the bullets from the strafing plane go between Patton's legs, but miraculously he is not hit.

Regarding Patton: Aside from the movie, I recall reading a line from a biography of him that told that story. Now 67, the 7th or 8th grade was a long time ago, but the quote went something like this: "That goddam German almost shot my balls off!" Of course, not having been there, I wouldn't know what actually happened.Comment
