Someone online is offering to sell me a Boyt 44 holster for $50. He says it is the real deal and not a repo. All that I have to go on is some poor quality pictures. If anyone has an opinion on whether this one is real or not please say so. In one picture the "package" it came in can be seen. Horrible photos! I've used a Chicom repro shoulder holster for the last 8-10 years at work in the fields. I've dropped it, sweated on it, and even tried to rub it to create a patina but it still looks like a chicom repro. Yours looks old and original to me. -

Even 50 bucks you would not be a fool, repro probably cost as much. Looks old but very good. Cannot see a date tho. for 35 I would have snapped it up and I do not need one!You can never go home again.Comment

Boyt used the last two numbers of the year in it's logo, and poster said it is 44 or 1944.Comment
