One on the far right is interesting, it has medalist scales. Could it be a MKIV Series 70?

I find it hard to swallow how the gov't seems to think it is OK to just "pile them up". None of the branches of service do that. But gov't entities; federal, state, county, local, ALL like to do it because it makes a "good picture" when they confiscate them.
Maybe CMP "confiscated" all those pistols and "piled them up" for a good photograph ??

Phillip, I don't clue as to why a gov't pistol would have Colt commercial grips on it unless someone at CMP found a rare set on one and "replaced" them............stranger things have happened !!!!!

        FWIW,

        Emri

Emri... I agree. It is pretty ironic that they bother to lay bubble wrap on a table only to pile the pistols on top of each other.

Down in the posts someone provides information that there were 3 RAF's and 1 Russian. That certainly would be strange.
