Just purchased a colt 1911 sn# 333782 could somebody please look up on Springfield research and see if there's any hits for the serial number. Pistol looks pretty nice I paid $1,500 for it I'd say it's either 30 to 40% condition but it is all original. So if it had a little bit of History to it it'll make me even happier thank you so much

Question. In Charles Big Book on 45 colt does he have serial numbers that were shipped over to AEF, I see a lot of people quoting from the book so is that correct and does anybody have a copy of that page it seems that book is going for big big bucks all I want is a copy of that page with my cell serial number on it.

Mixed serial number shipments totaling 19,180 pistols between the serial numbers 316000 and 339000, which could have contained serial number 333782, were shipped. 2800 of those shipped went to the Navy, but only a letter from Colt would tell you where yours went.
