1942 Colt 1911a1

I picked up a Colt 1911a1, made in 1942, quite a few years ago. I haven't paid it much attention for awhile and decided I would like to know its approximate value. All of its parts are all original except the magazine, and it has matching numbers. Any help will be appreciated. I tried to attach a couple of pictures but I couldn't get them to drag for attachment. Sorry
