Asterisk??

Whilst idly browsing here and there, I chanced to look at the "who's browsing this forum" box (as I have in the past) and see that my name is now followed by an asterisk. I realize that I am opening myself up to all sorts of ridicule and worse, but, why the change? I'm sure that is a new wrinkle - or, am I just getting (more) senile? Thanks.
