How to spot sammers
Normal first post example: " Hi, I hope you guys can help, I just found my(dad's, uncle's, grandfather's, great grandfather's) gun in his (garage, basement, attic, shed). What can you tell me about it?"
Spam post sample: " Hi I'm new here. I hope I'm posting this in the right place".
The post is very vague and absent of anything remotely firearm or military related. There may also be a hot link to click on. Do not click on the hot link!
If you find one, just send Sysad a pm. These seem to be cropping up on the SMLE and carbine forums.
If we are vigilant, they will hopefully quit posting here. If not we might end up getting cluster spammed like the old days. Remember the dark times before the site went down?!?!
