    Some Pre-WW2 Cal .30 Cartons

    For the '03 enthusiasts, some Ball M1 cartons, both standard issue from 1935 and National Match ammo from 1940, the last year.

      Nice comment on the ammo. Actually some date the start earlier than '39, to the Japanese actions in Manchuria. It all depends on your point of view. From an American point of view, 9/1/39 is pre-war.

        I agree with Togor. According to the IAA in the 39-40 time frame M1 ball (173 gr boat tail) was replaced by M2 ball (152 gr flat base). The only exception was Match ammo which continued with the 173 gr projectile. Regardless, any M1 ball, especially with a 1940 date, would be pre-WWII.
        Here's another carton identical to Togor's except a year earlier.

            Yes but most aren't M1906. The 1911 is a cool box, and 45-70 era is of long time interest to me. Here's a couple -
