Any idea what would be a fair price for 1968 Lake City Match ammo in 20 rd sealed boxes in original factory plant cans? 400 rds per can. Thanks.

I just sold a 420 round can of 173 grain LC Match for $400. That included the can.

.ammogarand.com is listing 1967 M72 ammo at $38.95 per 20.
A guy on Enos' forum posted, in 2009, that he saw a case at $400 per 400. It's collector grade stuff, not shooter ammo.

$400 for 400 + can is a fair price, IMO. You'll find a buyer but it may take a little time because to most collectors, one box is enough!
