Digging around in the ammo stash I cam across more I had forgotten was here. 1K of Argentine fmj 7.62x51. This came along with a Poly I picked up years ago. I paid $600. for the rifle and the ammo was thrown in the deal.

Not that I have noticed. After shooting 03s for many years , the recoil of most .308s is insignificant.

thanks. I thought it would be different without that long rattail on the bolt.
