    Steinel 38/200

    Gents,

I found Steinel's web page and see 38/200 offered. I've got an Enfield No.2 DAO, a Webley MK IV "War Finish", and a S&W Lend Lease Victory Model marked 38 S&W Ctg. I have been shooting 38 S&W in these pistols and of course they all shoot low. Does anyone have experience with the Steinel ammunition and would anyone hesitate to shoot Steinel's 38/200 in the above mentioned pistols? And no, the Victory has not been reamed for 38 spl.

    TIA,
    VG

i have no experience with that company but https://www.steinelammo.com/product/...military-load/ is the right load for those revolvers.

Yes I do reload and thanks for the link. Looks like the proper cannelured bullet as well! I've read differing opinions on using 38 S&W dies but I don't see any reason I cant and I have a set. Now to find a good load for Bullseye since I have quite a bit of it.

38 s&w dies work fine. there was a man who came to the local gun shows who used to cast the 200 grain 360's. i haven't loaded any of these in years but the OLD bullseye load was 1.7 grs. what it is now with the new powder i don't know.

looking through my neighbors no.4 reloading manual this morning from 2009 they have a loading for bullseye for 1.4 to start and 1.6 as max. for the 195 grain. 200 gr wasn't listed.
