350 Griffin & Howe magnum cartridge

This cartridge was developed by Griffin & Howe during the early 1930's and was chambered
in their custom rifles. Also known as the 350 H&H magnum, it is based on the necked down
    375 H&H to use .357 diameter bullets.

It was also factory loaded by Western Cartridge Company and they made the
cartridges with the 350 G&H headstamp too.

The 220 gr SP loading had a velocity of 3120 fps

The 250 SP Western cartridge had a velocity of 2700 FPS

By WW2 this cartridge had just about disappeared. Photo shows 300 H&H and 350 G&HDSCN2066.jpgDSCN2067.jpg
