I have a wooden crate of 45 auto ammo. Original crate states 1200 rds repacked in 1945. Crate has been opened, but cover paper is still there as are all boxes of ammo. Anybody know what it may be worth in todays market?

Here is a listing from one online source into the collectibles market.
With the CMP moving M1911s there is a market for accessories like a box of vintage ammo. Onesey-twosey sales can be time-consuming but guys will pay more for a thing if it's just the one.
It's also possible you could get one of those collectibles purveyors to make you an offer that you can't refuse for the entire lot.Last edited by togor; 07-26-2021, 05:33.Comment
