five round clip of 30-03 cartridges

I got this clip of 30-03 almost twenty years with some other clips of
military cartridges. When I started to take photos of the headstamps,
I realized it was U.M.C. headstamped. I use to think that all 30-03 was

The first group show the 30-06 cartridges of the 1910 -1911 time period, using the 172 gr spitzer FMJ.

The loaded charger, shows the retired 30-03 cartridges, dated fpr 1905, loaded with the 220 gr round-nose FMJ, bullet carried over from the 30-40 Krag.

If you post both a 06 and 03 round, side by side, you'll see that the brass length is longer for the "03" whereas the 06 will be shorter.

can you pull a bullet from each rounf you confirm the 03 = 220 grs and the 06 _ 172 gr.

here is a photo with 30-03, 30-06, 30M1 and early 30M2 which had the stannic stain on the
bullet to identify the cartridge as 30M2, This was from 1937 to 1940P1010048_0044_044.jpg
