    8mm ID

Purchased this ammo a while back, haven't been able to identify it. Headstamp is "1979" and 3 cyrillic letters. I'm assuming it was manufactured in 79 and is Russian or other commie made. Seller only had 4 20-rnd boxes, wish he'd had more as it is very nice, shiny stuff. Have not shot any, just re-discovered it in the closet. Is it corrosive?
    TIA- Mike

Likely corrosive and berdan primed. It shoots pretty well, just clean after use.

Jim and Joem, thanks to you both and I will consider it corrosive.

nny = rvi Partizan-Namenska Proizvodnja, Titovo, Uzice 31000, Yugoslavia. These are actually Cyrillic letters equal to "PPU in the Western alphabet.
