On an in-line ML, is it ok to apply..

light coating of never-seize to the threads of the barrel plug, instead of grease/ lube???

I use wheel bearing grease or teflon based lube. The reason for me is that when you have to push the charge out and then clean the rifle that sort of grease is easy to clean off. Whether you use solvent based cleaning or boiling water the two I mentioned are more soluble.
Anti -seize however will work, it's just messy mixed in with granulated powder like pyrodex.
