    "Blanket gun"

I've had this quite a while and saw it when I was rooting in the safe for something else this morning. As well as I recall, it's from a Sitting Fox kit in 54 cal.

A friend had cut down an old cherry tree in his mom's yard, using most of the lumber in gun stocks. There was a short piece left over, so he cut me a basic "gun stock war club". I finished and decorated it to go with the blanket gun.

Great looking "blanket gun!" That buttstock club would be great for zombies! Sincerely. bruce.

        Interesting!
        Is the bore rifled?
Looks like a fun gun to hunt with.

It's a smoothbore. So far, it's "minute of buffalo" at 10 paces. I think 28 ga = 54 cal - or close to that. I had the hare-brained idea of getting a few shot cups in that size and trying for pattern but haven't gotten around to it yet. SW

B/P shotties have been an idea I'd like to play around with for quite some time now.
I may get around to it yet, one of these years
