Go to MSN News and watch a 757 pilot land in a 45 mph cross wind. He brought it in with the nose about 45 degrees off the centerline of the runway, DAMN!!

The 757 is a very capable aircraft. In the hands of a competent pilot, it will do things that other transport category aircraft cannot perform. Regards, Clark

Sometimes a pilot will just have to her down in those conditions because he doesn't have enough fuel to go anywhere else ....

not a pilot ..... but I've been a "passenger " on a couple of similar flights
