WTS Colt Detective Special from 1965 in blued finish with 2 inch 38 special barrel. This pistol has seen very little use, having been purchased by a doctor when new when he was a resident at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. The Dr didn't like the neighborhood. Two years later the doctor graduated and moved to a much safer neighborhood, and the pistol became a sock drawer gun for the next 50 years. It is doubtful if much more than a box of shells has been fired through this pistol.
This DS has the long frame, which is becoming increasingly hard to find. Grips are mint. Outside of two small nicks on the right side, the bluing is pretty much perfect. Period holster included.
