    WTS Rifle collection for sale

I am going to sell most of my military rifle collection. I have some very nice M1903's, Krags, and Trapdoors. I will post them on this forum before listing on GUN BROKER. I will start with my best M1903. It is the best M1903 that I have ever owned ( and the best that I have seen in 50 years of collecting ). It is a 1909 rifle in completely correct and original condition. It has at least 95% original metal and wood finish, to include some case colors on the safety and cut off. The bore is strong and bright, but has some light darkening in the grooves. The cartouche is a very strong B.H.M. which no one to my knowledge has put a name to. It has the no groove--no clips handguard and the "high wall" stock with one recoil bolt. The smooth butt plate still retains some of the nitre blue. Needless to say it is not cheap at $5,000.00 plus shipping/insurance, but I have no idea where to go to find another as good. How did it it remain in this condition for over 110 years? At least one expert, known to everyone on this forum, has said the it has a good possibility of being a very early NRA Sales rifle. Sales of the M1903 rifle to NRA members was authorized in 1908.sa09-1.jpgsa09-2.jpgsa09-3.jpgsa09-4.jpgsa09-5.jpg
