WTS: Winchester M1917 Rifle, Early Production!

This is a very nice rifle! It is a Winchester with an early low serial number. The barrel is original and dated 2-17! Bore is nice and bright, muzzle is tight. No rust or pitting. Some patina to the finish. The stock is excellent and has no damage of any kind. The rifle was rebuilt during WWII and has a "3-GM-K" rebuild marking on the stock. It has an attractive gray/green parkerized finish overall. Parts are of mixed manufacture. The rifle still has storage grease in the nooks and crannies. I'd guess this came from the DCM back in the day and was never really used after purchase. The stacking screw and swivel are missing, a minor detail and easy to find parts.

    $600.00 shipped
