WTS Beautifu Retro Colt M16a1 kit 1967-1969

m16-2..jpgM16-5..jpgM16-1..jpgM16-4..jpgOffered for sale is a beautiful, original early Colt M16a1 kit from 1967-1968 in the 800,000 to 1,750,000 range. Includes barreled upper, with barrel marked with the joined MP on the right side between the legs of the front sight, and C on the bottom. The front sight is forged, and is not marked with the C and bell as later ones are. It has the birdcage flash hider that is correct for this period. The front sight also has the correct drain hole. The hand guards are the correct Typr F with drains. The gas tube has the correct downward bend. The upper has the correct A1 door and sights and teardrop forward assist. The front sling swivel is rubber coated.

Also included is a nice correct Type E A1 stock and pistol grip with screw, an A1 buffer with tube and spring, and a new replacement bolt, bolt carrier and charging handle.

In answer to several questions, the upper receiver is marked on the upper right near the front leg of the carrying handle with the Colt C in a square and VP in a triangle proofs.
