"selling for a friend" can jeopardize your reputation if the item is not correctly described or the item is a fake . Your description of the rifle includes several items that are not correct for the period the rifle was assembled originally. Do not take someone's word that the rifle is "as-issued". A review of the similar rifles for sale on other web sites will reveal the true value of yours.

Thank you for your concern musketshooter. Nowhere in my description does it say "as-issued" or period correct rifle. I have no idea what is "correct" for this rifle. The person I am selling it for is an old shooter that is not very computer savvy.

My description describes the rifle as-is. What you see, is what you get.

This is his asking price.

Since the original post has been edited I have no idea what the original description was, but the rifle has several problems which never came on an original or period correct rifle.
