I have for sale 2 never opened boxes of world war II U.S. ISSUE 12GA SHOTGUN AMMO BOXES.

BOX 1... WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS COMPANY Div. WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO.
and is No.8 chilled Shot.
these were probably mainly used for aerial and gunnery practice by US ARMY AIR
CORPS for training bomber gun crews and most likely USN gunners for anti
aircraft defense. The box is marked Lot WRA 22191

BOX 2....REMINGTON ARMS CO LOT RA 6708 and is also NO. Chilled Shot
and was also used for the same general purpose as the box above. There were
probably other uses for this type of ammo.
