    M1 Carbine Leather Scabbard

I bought this scabbard from someone on the old "Gun and Knife Forum". So it had to have been back in the 90's. It is in great shape for it's age. The former owner has applied some type of preservative to the leather. When I pulled it out the other day it had white residue on it that I first thought might be some kind of mold. On further examination it turned to be some type of wax. It rubbed off with a paper towel. The brass rivets have the usual verdigris on them. Asking $275 plus shipping. After looking on E-bay that seems to be less than what they are selling for. If memory serves me, I paid $175 plus shipping back in the 90's. Would like to find it a new home.
