WTT Original 1911A1 blued Colt 45 Auto marked small "F" barrel for

a small "G" marked original finish barrel in like condition which is 97% blue and an as new bore.

I also have a pre-war Springfield original finish blue barrel in the same condition, lug marked "SP" horizontally, I'd also trade or do you have a small "G" barrel for sale?

Good luck on this. The small "G" Colt A1 barrels in 97% are worth 2 to 3 times that of a same condition "F" marked barrel. The Small "G" barrels in the last couple years have gotten seriously hard to find in any condition. I sold a nice one about 3 years ago for $400 and now kick myself for even letting it go. They are worth somewhere in the $800 to $1000 range now.

Duane, appreciate your comments. My hope was to find someone who needed my barrel to make their Colt correct, and in return I could get a barrel to make my Colt correct.

Is this a small or large G ?

It looks like a Large "G" to me but sometimes it is hard to tell unless you have a known small "G" next to it to compare.
