Springfield Armory M1 Garand SN: 1068507 (12/1942). $1,100.00 shipped CONUS.
Item insured and shipped in new hard case. 3 day inspection, returns to be insured and shipped in original hard case.
Purchased from CMP 8/1/1997. Sent to Springfield, Inc., Geneseo, IL 9/1997 for their “M1 Garand upgrade Ultra Match package #2”. This includes a Douglas heavy air gauged Ultra Match barrel, NM front and rear sight, new stock, action glass bedded, match tuned trigger, parkerized and chriogenics. Excelent condition. I have fired only several hundred rounds.
One issue is I cannot disassemble the rifle. I was told by Springfield, Inc. that I had to return the rifle to them for service which I have done in the past.
I AM SUSPENDING THE SALE OF THIS RIFLE.
The op rod is disconnecting when manually cycling the bolt and jammed the rifle when I fired it. I'm sending it to Springfield Inc. for service and repair.
