    WTB, Bolt needed for Remington Model 721......

    Posting for a friend.
    He needs a BOLT for a Remington Model 721 in 30-06.
    Last time I did this for a friend and found him exactly what he said he wanted, he then didnt but it.
    But this is a different friend so I'm trying to just help a guy out. But no promises.

      A Remington 700 bolt will work and a lot easier to find.

          IIRC, the 721 is the longer action versus the 722. Long action 700 bolts are easier and cheaper to find than short action bolts in the secondary market.

              I saw a beautiful 721 in the second hand rack of a LGS in 30-06. It had never even had a scope mounted and like an idiot I put it back even though the price was just $300.
