    WTB: Colt 1911a1 lend lease barrel

    As the title states I'm looking for a Colt 1911a1 lend lease barrel for a 1943 serial number 929xxx (Remington Rand duplicate number). From the stamps on the pistol the barrel should have the London Proof stamp, not the BNP stamp.

      I have been hunting the same barrel for years with no luck. I would pay stupid money for one if I could find it.

      I can't believe there are two pistols out there without this barrel...maybe they were never marked.

          Actually yes that is the barrel I'm looking for. The one I have is like that but there isn't a lick of finish left on it. I was hoping to improve on the one I had. There has to be a 1911a1 lend lease pistol out there that has this barrel but is needing an "F" barrel or something. I can tell this is going to be a challenge.
