    WTS WWI Remington-UMC 1911 Slide & Barrel

WTS correct slide and barrel for Remington-UMC Government Model 1911. Remington-UMC only made 23,000 pistols between 1918 & 1919 before their contract was cancelled due to war's end. These parts would be perfect for a restoration of a WWI pistol. Slide does not include sights. Rifling still present in barrel although light at bore; passes bullet test. Asking $400 for slide & $200 for S proofed barrel. Contact me via email at: kfrgac@prodigy.net

Your Barrel is from a 1911A1 that someone stamped with a "P" at the chamber. 1911 barrels did not have the step transition on the bottom, just a smooth transition to be correct. A correct barrel should have a blued finish, not parkerized.
