Wanted: Late 5.7 HRA with SA barrel

I am looking for a late 5.7 million H&R with original 1953 dated Springfield barrel.

    Must have original finish.
Barrel condition is not a critical issue
All matching parts are not critical either

Looking for either a complete M1 Service Grade rifle or barreled receiver

    email direct at: kdolds442@yahoo.com
or feel free to PM or email for phone number

You have good taste in Garand rifles. I have that rifle, but it is also a Letterkenny rebuild so it has the silver finish. I was very excited to get it. I like the rebuild finish but fingerprints would have been better.
A little late, but it is marked SA 12-53.

Thanks. Need this one to fill a hole. Been looking for a long time

If you want fingerprints, you need a Remington Rand

Buddy of mine has two of them, both service grades from the late 90's. They appear to be all original/correct. Been trying for the last ten years to pry them loose from him but he won't budge.

            Thanks Tom,

Can we archive your data base?

I for one, am very interested in 5.7 HRA's.
We know that some 5.7's were built with early 52 dated HRA barrels, some with late 55 and 56 dated HRA barrels, others with LMR's and some with the ever so elusive (to my collection) 53 dated SA barrels.

              Don't forget that the 6mil HRA's have 52 barrels.

Another 12-53?(pretty early). It's hard to make out. I doubt anyone minds the information and it keeps the ad alive.

                        Sounds good.

Where are these data sheets and will you provide access to them?

Hi dryheat, Yes, it's 12-53. A collector grade I got from CMP in 2003.

Let's get this thread back on track.

Does anyone have a late HRA with original 1953 dated Springfield barrel that they are interested in selling?
