You can say that again. I've seen forums go belly-up in the past, but most of us knew what boards to go and catch up with people. I don't frequent very many forum sites anymore.

As I understand it, Pat did not buy "Jouster." What she bought is the domain name "Jouster2.com" Note the Welcome message at the top of this page. Jouster is still Gloria's and she can bring it back at anytime and then we would have jousting Jousters.

I spoke with Gloria's attorney. He is a very reasonable man and we are negotiating to return Jouster to Gloria. Please remember, she abandoned the site for over five years and refused to upgrade the software when it was necessary to remove the forum from a failing old server. If she follows through on engaging a competent webmaster, I will work with him to be sure he has everything he needs to make a new jouster.com website and to move the forum to the new site on another server. Sorry, Red, but no Jousting Jousters, as much as I love the phrase. If all this comes off, I will redirect jouster2.com back to jouster.com so no one gets lost and I will bow out permanently. Running the site again would be good for her and under those circumstances come about, I am more than happy to bow out.

Have no idea what the problem was, but I DO know that losing a spouse can do bad things to your head. In any event, I want to thank you sincerely for all of your help and dedication.

I have visited with Pat several times. She is a 100% honest lady that tried to do her best to keep the forum going when the server failed and the new server was hacked.

If Gloria takes over, lively debate will end. JMHO

I'd like to still see Pat as one of the drivers of this boat.

Pat has done a great job and I love her personality, I do not want her to walk out of our lives. Good people like her are hard to find!
