    August 1st.

Seems like the warm months are slipping away pretty quick. Have propane and wood on order for winter already.

not soon enough... 106-110 in Phoenix. I have my sun shovel ready to go this winter. I get so tired of shoveling sunshine off my driveway in Nov-Feb.

Up here in Ottawa where our claim to fame is that we live in the coldest capital city in the world (Ottawa is colder than Moscow), the peak of the day is now over but it's still 88 degrees. Nothing like Phoenix certainly but we aren't really used to it. Of course in late January when it's minus 40, everyone will want the Summer.

Here in Iowa, night time temps have been in the lower 50's. Day time temps in the 70's. Nice and cool for a change!
