Hey Guys, I need to find an itty bitty holster my Browning .25 cal. It's older than dirt so I am hoping to get the make and model of a more modern pistol the same size so I can shop for a holster. It has a 2 1/2 barrel, overall length is 4". Any ideas? Thanks!

You might check out a customer maker. I know of at least one that does good work.To Error Is Human To Forgive Is Not SAC Policy -
Pat, sounds like you need a pocket holster for your pocket Browning .25 auto.
I'd recommend a quality yet, inexpensive DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster for small autos. These are currently on sale at MidwayUSA for $15.25

recommend you get a nylon one or one that isnt leather as leather will wear the finish off of the nose of the gun. and if it gets wet it will take a while to dry out and will get hard where other matierals wont, just my opinion as always seaComment

Browning stopped importing them in 1968. So it is probably older than that. The GCA of 1968 had size restrictions on imported pistols.Comment

If you are also looking for a more modern pistol of the same size I would recommend the Beretta 950. It comes in .25 ACP, holds 9 rounds, and has a tip up barrel so you don't have to rack the slide. It is completely reliable and surprisingly accurate for such a small gun. I don't use a holster, just carry it in my pocket. I would also recommend Fiocchi ammo. It is the most powerful made in this caliber.Comment

I had problems with the Beretta Jetfire regarding that tip-up barrel. In practice, that tip-up lever sometimes flipped the barrel up on the draw. That left me with a pistol having the tail end of the barrel sticking up in the air, a round that sailed off into the sunset, and having to depress the barrel back down and racking that tiny, hard to manipulate slide. Not something anyone wants in an emergency.
It became a cash register pistol at an area pizza parlor while I went out and bought a .380.
FWIW, any holster which fits the Bauer or Fraser .25 also fits the Baby Browning.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!
