Went to Wal-Mart and CCI Mini-Mag no limit! 100 pack HP @$7.75 so I picked up 500 rds and more still on the shelf. Was advised ammo will be replenished tonight to full stock. Tax out the door with my 10% discount was $37.32! Haven't seen ammo this reasonable in years!

I believe they are running around $1.00 a box more here at WM. Been watching them but mostly I watch the case prices on GB. Some brands are running @ $300 a case (5000 rounds). Shipping is extra but there's no tax so that's about a trade off. Don't need any 22's for now but when/if they drop to around $20 a brick I will start buying again. It seems to me if half of what I heard is true about the personel at Remington, Winchester and CCI working around the clock to produce the 22's that one day soon there will be a tremendous surplus. That day is not here yet obviously but things are sure looking better.

BTW Wal-Mart sells steel GI type ammo boxes now. They aren't as good as the real deal but I believe they are running around $13 ea. They also have the plastic type for $5.

I was theres last night.... same thing here in DE. They even had CB SHORTS! When is the last time you saw them around??

Just got back from the local WM here. Remington bricks (500rds) are $24.97 ea with no limits. They only had 2 bricks though but had the CCI 100 packs. The prices are heading in the right direction--a big improvement from just a year ago.
