Thanks for sharing. Its interesting what ever happen caused his canopy to depart but the A10 is a tough bird. When I was at Eielson AFB we had a A10 land gear up and all the plane had was some sheet metal damage.

Last A-10 was made in 1984 and the Zoomies have been trying to get rid of 'em ever since. Not sophisticated enough for 'em.

Let's face it Sunray, it's just not "sexy" enough for them. Now the guys on the ground.....they're not interested in "sexy" when they call for close air support.
