What the article doesn't tell you is that the young man purposely removed the manhole cover that was in place for his safety prior to entering the storm drain. Those manhole covers are heavy cast-iron and can only be removed with the use of a tool such as a prybar. You can't fix stupid!Comment

PHD means Piled Higher and Deeper. snicker. Most PHD's don't know how to do anything. Most go right through university to PHD programs without ever actually working.
